Resumé
The repression of international crimes has undergone a signifiant evolution since the
end of the Second World War. If, at the beginning, it represented the manifestation of
the justice of the strong, it has imposed itself for several decades as the will of the international community to fiht and put an end to human barbarism. As a result, ad hoc
international jurisdictions and a permanent jurisdiction have been put in place to make
this repression effective. Internally, the question was therefore whether the Cameroonian
judge is competent to prosecute and judge the perpetrators of international crimes. If it
has been demonstrated that the internal judge is the natural judge of the repression of
criminal offences, it is clear that the internal and international obstacles constitute serious
diffiulties in the implementation of this State competence. Hence the need to reduce the
problems of national law by integrating genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity
in the Cameroonian Penal Code.
